We have been asked to prepare some images for a new gallery to house the art of a private collector. Our brief is to prepare a building that sits and blends in comfortably with the long established - and immaculately presented - garden grounds of our client.
Our solution is to construct a lightweight frame that sits on, and over, some of the trees and shrubs, and in time the landscape will grow through it, which will merge the boundary between building and nature.
In turn, the art will become of part of the landscape. Or something.
Our client loves our ideas and so do we.
