Third time lucky for Carnoustie dream home bid in stunning seafront location
After a split vote at the Planning Meeting today, our clients were granted Planning Consent for this modest but dramatic “house on the beach” in Carnoustie. After 2 previously refused applications were put in the drawer, our clients will now have a cleverly designed family home that has all windows looking out to the beach and sea protecting the neighbours from loss of privacy.
We have designed this house for a client who is using the self-build route to create their own home. The site is in an elevated location on the south side of Perth with great views to the north and to the east. The house will comprise an open plan ground floor with views towards Perth and the Carse of Gowrie, an upper floor with bedrooms and a basement level with a self-contained “annexe” that is cut in to the steeply [...]

Today we received notification of Planning Approval for this large detached house in Broughty ferry, Dundee. When competed the house will comprise 5 bedrooms, 3 public rooms, kitchen/dining, an office and a gym. The design includes an upper terrace to make the most of the site’s superb location, the views towards the River Tay Estuary.
